Midnite Minichamp and Victorinox wharncliffe
Crumby already had a Signature Minichamp, but wanted a light in it. Then Crumby found a Midnite Manager in the dollar bin at the State Surplus Store. What a deal.
First Crumby needed to check the battery on the Manager. No battery. OK. Then Crumby tried inserting a working battery. No light. Dang! So then Crumby took the scale off, cleaned the light apparatus, switched the top scales on the Manager and the Minichamp, and wallah, the light lights. And, it's a white light. But one has to shake it sometimes to get it to come on. Probably, Crumby needs to check for opens on the circuit card under a microscope.
Next up is a new Victorinox Gardener with a Wharncliffe blade (bottom). This a cool knife with brass liners and an unusually long cutting edge for a Gardener. The blade, closed up, is almost at the very end of the scale.
