Ray's Thought for the Day - Delegated to the Crumby Ovate
Ha! She rolled a 7 come 11 and She brought me back home.
Eleven is the number of letters to the editor in today's edition of what passes for a daily newspaper in these parts. And seven is the number of letters addressin' the subtopic "teachin' intelligent design in the public schools". You may wish, at this point, to review "Ray's Thought for the Day - Red's Been Readin' the Newspaper" to get some appreciation of the 4tellin' capacities up and runnin' at RGVECB.
Anyhow, a great many fall for the Karl Rove bait and switch tactics which all the Bush Minion Wind Up Dolls were taught at expensive seminars, probably at taxpayer expense, during golf vacations over the last couple of decades.
What's a way to shift the attention of the humans and proto humans away from the wickedness of the liars and gluttons? Easy that, bait and switch. So, our well-coifed governor, chafing under his failed policies on public schools, and worried about the upcomin' exposure of the wickedness of his most intimate political associates, and possibly his intimate connections with same, starts carryin' on about teachin' intelligent design in the public schools. And a great many of us fall, fer it, seven come eleven.
Ha! Ah caint resist spellin', "Monkey see, monkey do".
All this is too funny. The daily rag makes sure letters from all the possible perspectives are printed to make it appear that all this is part and parcel of the democratic process. Let's quote one of these printed letters, because it references one of RGVECB's favorite subtopics, the "Science of Archaeology".
BUT AND BUT AND YET ANOTHER BUT, even though holdin' the ignorant and vulgar up to ridicule may be lotsa fun, we need to focus in on just the wickedness of the liars and gluttons, specifically on the wickedness that will get them thrown in the penitentiary.

For example, take the science of archaeology. How do archaeologists determine whether a rock's shape evolved by random processes of erosion or was created by intelligent design? This is too funny. Even I, the Crumby Ovate, couldn't make this up. Hector Protector, even Ray couldn't make this up.
