Ray's Thought for the Day

Ha! What am I Ray going to have fer breakfast today? Easy to answer, cinnamon bun! Patterns are both a comfort and a peril. What's comfort, what's perilous, a weekly, scheduled cinnamon bun, or coffee, snuff, coffee, snuff, coffee, snuff every day from dawn til bedtime? Note, here I was tempted to wax poetic and spell dawn to dusk, but that would not have been true or even rhyme exactly. Ha! Does dusk rhyme with snuff?
_____

Ray! Stop sporting over the bad habits of the Crumby Ovate. He's fixing to break the pattern, but you're not being very helpful.

All righty then Hope. I shall desist.
_____

Then too we have an item coming all the way from Glasgow, Scotland, that particular item has been officially approved for acquistion by the general populace, then by the penultimate authority, the LDR, then by the ultimate authority, Mr. Red Ears. And we have a message from the vendor informing us that it will be mailed today. I am very excited about this, because I have never received anything from so far abroad through the mail.

The cost of the postage is five pounds? Yet the item undoubtedly weighs less than five pounds. If the British were really smart, like me, the postage rates in those parts would exactly replicate the poundage of the item being transported hither or yon. The postage rate on a shrew would be miniscule, but the rate on an ox, would be very great, indeed.

What is this particular item? Easy that, it is several combined simple machines.
