Where Do We Go from Carex with Sedge Buster?

I vote fer Cyperus!

I vote fer Eleocharis!

I vote fer Bulbostylis!

No, I vote fer doin' Scirpus the old way!

Whut about doin' Rhynchospora?

Ray, ye dern knucklehead! There aint hardly a one of em in these parts?

Yepper, ye triplicate knucklehead Crumby, we has 3 x 50s sheets of em.

Mebbe, but they aint frum these parts, Ray! There all frum off east, ye sextuplet knucklehead.

All righty then boys. I, the LDR, have a suggestion. Let's do some of the tiny ones. Let's do the Bulbostylis and the little Fimbristylis together and maybe toss in some of the tiny Scirpuses and the tiniest Cyperuses. It would be an overview of the tiniest sedges. And you could use the microscope to great effect on those little ones.

Er. All righty with me.

Me too. Nyuck, nyuck, nyuck.

So we are bidding farewell to Carex fer the nonce, though it is likely we will find an interestin' un er two this spring and will return, on occasion, to em.
