Ray’s Thought for the Day - The Duffer Environment

Yesterday, my cinnamon bun was delicious. The truth is, I prefer the slightly burnt ones. Yesterday, as I espied the tray of delicious cinnamon buns, my delicious cinnamon bun stood out, because it was on top of the rest of the cinnamon buns. Yepper, the tray was full of cinnamon buns. There sat mine on the top of the rest of them, a reject from another tray, maybe.

Which one would you like, sir?

I’ll take that burnt one on top. Mmmm. It was delicious.

Our US Congress represents the interests of the ruling class, mostly. That’s why our US Congress often seems confused and inept, a reflection of the confusion and ineptitude of the rulers. The confusion and ineptitude of the rulers, considered as a class, devolves from the desire of each individual ruler to have it his way, totally. But that is almost impossible, even considering the great strides monopolies have made toward socking down, locking down power and money among the few. So confusion reigns among the remaining rulers, those not squeezed out by the on-going process of monopolization, yet.

However, the surviving rulers are in general agreement on a hobby of choice, golf. This ruling class attitude and opinion is reflected in US Congressional legislation as, “Let’s move daylight savings time up three weeks. That way, all the duffers shall enjoy more time on the links earlier in the year than ever before.”

Yepper. Not only shall the duffers enjoy the energy and water rich turf grass environment, they shall have time to finish up their drives, puts, backslaps and butt grabs ere darkness falls upon the duffer environment.
