Ray's Thought for the Day

out of place and time

Ah, ha. A panic attack made it through our elaborate defenses, afflicting even me, Ray, and the Crumby Ovate is, in fact, laid low, and for the nonce breathin' slowly into a paper bag. The generalized panic attack we had here is the reason for the sentence fragment "out of place and time" which is sort of a true spell, but not true at the same time. Sometimes, you may see, that Druids become disoriented as a result of a panic attack and that's what happened to me, Ray this afternoon, causin' me to panic and delete my original thought and substitute "out of place and time". The original thought, that I deleted referenced the troubling State of the Onion and those two fearsome visages seated directly behind Regulus craziensis, known vulgarly as the kinglet, during the national pep talk on how to transfer even more of the national treasury to the already too rich. I had spelled, referencing those fearsome visages, "cracklins". For some reason, their bein' so stout and pasty made me spell, cracklin's.

Though the panic attack was generalized, Crumby and me took the worst of it. We know why we took the worst of it too, so there will have to be a reckonin'.

Because Crumby is temporarily felled, and I am feelin' poorly, the spruge du jour, which happens to be E. villifera, will be delayed until we get to feelin' more, chipper.

This has been a grim day despite the beautiful rain.

Ray and Crumby are lucky. For even now they suckle at the Bosoms of the Goddess.
