Ray Pistrum
Lotsa plants are named fer people. And some people, especially ladies are named fer plants. Here's Rapistrum rugosum. I was named, fer it.
Rapistrum rugosum is a troublesome weed in Chile, Korea, Tasmania and Zimbabwe as illustrative of almost everywhere else. In Tejas it is cited among the Top 25 Tillage Weeds. However, honey bees like it because it is high in protein and so sweet. Is it edible? Try it and find out. Mustards are generally delicious. But remember, I'm named fer it, and as Dr. Swineherd was fond of spellin', "Ray, yer good fer nothin'!"
