Androstephium coeruleum again

I finally realized why these little lilies are hard to get a nice picture of. They are sort of ugly. But, they are rare. This year, however, a good many of them have survived herbivory to the flowering stage of their lives at one of their locations. This one just got a good soaking from the rain. So it is bedraggled, in addition to being sort of ugly.

One might wonder about the coeruleum. Sometimes, as they fade, just before they are eaten, they turn bluish.

OK. I have post processed the image that was here formerly to lighten it up. Here that is. Now it looks better.
