Five Victorinox orange peeler blades together
OK. Now I have completed acquiring all the various orange peeler iterations. There are five, so far as I am aware. The fifth, missing gut hook, (on top) was purchased for three dollars plus tax at the state surplus store. Interestingly, the charge for saks at the state surplus store has declined from 5 to 3 dollars since the last time I visited. For heaven's sake.
Here is an odd 74mm configuration also purchased at the state surplus store on account of how odd it is. The oddness has to do with the presence of a new style orange peeler and fairly old scissors on the same knife. I.e. no gut hook and scissors with single leaf spring plus screw. Goofy. Just shows to go how the scissors are unreliable for knife dating due to the fact that the springs break and then the springs or maybe the whole scissors' apparatus gets replaced.
