Ray's Thought for the Day
One and a half a tics was what Red espied in the guage this mornin'. That makes a total of, er, five plus five plus one and a half is eleven and a half tics.
Now forgin' ahead with one of my several backlogged projects that are makin' intermittent progress we come to selectin' a tree fer this time of the year (January 21 to February 17 of the Julian) respective to the CB. But since the trees er all restin', and since tree could mean any plant, dependin' on yer perspective, the tree fer "I am a sneeze in the pasture month" is (Baby cotyledons).
Now let me see.
Crumby, do ye feel up to goin' out in the pasture to see if ye can find a Baby cotyledon er two, and while yer at it, take their pictures.
Yepper. I could just manage it Ray, fer it be a beautiful day and the mockin'birds er singin' Hoorrah, Hoorrah, and I am recovered somewhat from my previous bad scare, that paper bag havin' done the trick.
All righty then, venture ye forth and while yer hard at it, I shall partake of the oat er two.
_____
A while later.

Mmmmmm, mmmmmm, mmmmmm! That was extry delicious. And here comes the Crumby Ovate right on schedule.
What ye got fer the Baby cotyledon, Crumby?
Ha! There is a great many baby cotyledons comin' up in the recently cultivated areas.
Uh, oh!
Yepper, so I took a picture of one of those.
Uh, oh!
So let's load er up Ray.
Er, all righty then.
Oops! Did ye happpen to notice if there was a great many of these particular baby cotyledons in that particular area, Crumby?
Yepper Ray, there was a great many indeed. And guess whut else I espied?
Uh, oh!
I verily seen yer old pal, R-E-S-C-U-E-G-R-A-S-S!
YIKES!
______
Ray, uh oh!, is a tad concerned that Red will see this particular baby cotyledon and recognize it as a baby bur clover (Medicago minima).
