Ray's Thought for the Day - Rainfall Update
Yessir. Our little planet is whipping along frenetically through the stygian darkness of space, lit up only by the fickle Ogma and a good many stars. It is Day 94 of our journey, DY 1. While the Republicans plot Republican conservation measures guaranteed to make US hotter, I portend the arrival of my delicious cinnamon bun, anon.
The rain gauge accumulated an additional 0.17 plus a small June bug since the last update. Fortunately, that June bug could swim, real well, for a long time. So the new total for DY 1 is 14.38" + 0.17" = 14.55". Uh, oh. Here's my sister.
Hello Ray.
Hey Rayetta, something for the venue?
Yes Ray. It so happens that I do have some butterfly documentation for the venue. These two are more Crumby's job butterflies.
Rayetta's Butterflies
Texan crecent (Anthanassa texana). Rather small and semi-tame. +3 - 2 on the Rayetta scales.
Vesta Crescent (Phyciodes graphica) Tiny and tame. That's 3 - 3 on the Rayetta scales. This one is a Menodora pollinator.
Okie Dokie. Here's one more. Remember, the name of the game here is documentation photography. This is a tiny little nervous one taking off from the Nothoscordum bivalve. It's 3 - 1 on the Rayetta scales. Whut it is, bro?
