Rayetta's Butterflies - New Documentation

Ah ha. At last I have photographic evidence that the Monarchs(Danaus plexippus)actually visit the CB as opposed to just flying over with the hawks. Well, one visited anyway. This pale individual may be old, as Monarchs go. Yep. More documentation for the Ovates.

Spring has sprung and a few butterflies are around. In addition to this old Monarch we have a great many female black swallowtails, red admirals, funeral skippers and orange skipperlings.

Later this one appeared on the Prunus cultivar. Great Purple Hairstreak (Atlides halesus).
