Rayetta's Butterflies - The Absence of Something
One of the characteristics of science that can make science boring to the average consumer is the absence of something to study. For example, according to science, I am supposed to be just as excited when there are no butterflies at the CB as when there are some. Hmmm.
The weather in these parts lately has been cool and rainy, which correlates negatively with butterfly abundance. Only two species, both hardy fritillaries, have braved the butterfly unfriendly climes, fluttering or racing about the CB with speedy alacrity as opportunity presents itself, or fickle Ogma peeps out.
