Ray's Thought for the Day

Last night, Crumby had us all out between the barns, in the shadows of the barns, because he espied parts of the Monoceros from the shadows of the barns. It needs to be real dark, ye see, to espy a unicorn. I, Ray, didn't see it. Er, somehow we got another tic of rain, so that makes six fer, I am a Mighty Snark in the Formerly Cultivated Areas and the CB Tree is Phaestoglochin Caric Sedges. Which reminds me that we need to do a story on those big old honkin' sedges. That dang Crumby needs to hep me get goin' on those fer the next Sedge Buster.

Hark! Perhaps ye, bein' ignorant and vulgar, require assistance in pronunciatin' the spell, Monoceros. Well, it's just like rhinoceros.

Ha! Mommy, that baby horse has a horn!

That's not a baby horse with a horn, sugar, that's a monoceros.

It is!, a monoceros.

What would un with twain horns be mommy?

That would be a duoceros, sugar.

Snuffle. This is how it would have been with baby Ray if I hadn't been a orphant.
