Ray's Many Thoughts for the Day
Last Saturday we got 6 tics in the guage. That was the last little rain we had. It's been hot and dry since then with high cloud nights. Those meteorlogical facts make everyone at the CB nervous, especially following upon a very hot spring. Rain portends today, maybe. But the newspaper has already arrived, double plastic bagged, and usually that only happens when it is already raining. Perhaps the rain has skipped us.
In 1776, our Kinglet was named George. In 2006 our Kinglet is named George. It's the cyclical thing, baby.
On this eve of 4th of July of the Julian, which the moderately old timey sun god touting revisionist Druids referenced as Duir, the oak month, we are reminded that all of us who pay taxes support the war on Iraq, maybe. The maybe caveat is that our tax money may or may not support the war on Iraq. We have no way of knowing for sure. But, if we pay taxes, we may support the war on Iraq.
One interesting difference between these days and those days, 1776, is that our ruling class, and the British ruling class, have happily coalesced under the globalization banner. Onward!
An interesting facet of global capitalism is its quest for labor; cheap, cheaper, cheapest. Which is interestingly inversely related to some increasingly hard to acquire energy related commodities. For all this Onward! to work out for the ruling class, short term, because short is the only term upcoming, the energy needs to be cheap, too.
Praise the Goddess.

Yepper, among other training agenda items.
