Crumby Helps Rayetta with Her Mythical Camera Lens

Merciful high jinks! Here is some interesting information on the mythical lens Rayetta wants. Olympus is offering a 50 smackeroo rebate on that lens, good through December.

Rayetta! Rayetta! Rayetta! Ray-et-ta!!!!

What?

There's a rebate on your new mythical lens. Maybe Olympus has recaptured the shipment from the pirates before the pirates sold them all to the communists, minus the ones the pirates sodomized and threw overboard.

Lemme see Crumby! Well I'll swan, it says so right on the Olympus forum of DPreview, so this news must be true. Tra-la-la, la-de-da. I shall get a $50 rebate on my mythical 70-300mm telephoto/macro. How about that?

Do you think any of those virtual lenses shall be on the market before the rebate ends, Rayetta? After all, those lenses are way scarcer than chicken toofers in these parts.

Good point Crumby. Let's root this out. It says go to Adorama. Go there Crumby.

All righty then. Here it is. Your lens plus a rebate.

Hmmm. But it also says, they don't have any. And, it also says, this lens is expected to ship in September 2007. Hmmm.

Uh, oh. Looks like the pirates or communists have still got your lens, Rayetta.

Yepper. Crumby, as a forum member, how would you rate the reliability of the information provided on DPReview?

I would rate it more reliable than information provided by the Kinglet's Press Secretary.

How much more reliable?

Only slightly, but unlike the information provided by the Kinglet's Press Secretary, it's free information.

Hmmm. This information, free or not, is very confusing, even for me, Crumby.

That's because you desire that lens Rayetta. The desire for that lens is clouding your noggin. So any goofy information about that lens affects you. If you cared not a whit about that lens, there would be no effect.

OK. Crumby, your job shall be, find that lens, available and for sale. I do not wish to hear any more information regarding that lens, except, for sale, available. Do you understand, Crumby?

Not even if my pirate hypothesis turns out to be gospel and is reported on a news media beyond reproach, like maybe, one of the highly touted cable news programs.

Not even then, Crumby.
